Policies
Thank you for taking the time to look through my policies.
Should you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Contact information can be found under the “Book+Contact” tab!
Booking & Appointments:
You can book with me on Venue Ink. All tattoo appointments are scheduled in advance; I do not take walk-ins. Be sure to be as thorough as you can when submitting an inquiry form- the more information, the better! Your appointment is not considered confirmed until your deposit has been received. I book out 1-2 months in advance. I am also a full-time student, so expect a reply from either me or my assistant.
Deposits:
$50 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure your spot. This goes towards your final total. If you need to reschedule, if it’s within the 48-hour window, it carries over to your next appointment. If it’s after the 48-hour window, another deposit is required. You get 2 reschedules before another deposit is required.
Rescheduling & Cancellations:
Please let me know 48-hours prior to your appointment if you’re unable to make it. If you’re within the 48-hour window, your deposit will transfer over. If it’s not within the 48-hour window of your appointment, a new deposit is required. You get 2 reschedules before another deposit is required.
Late Policy:
Please let me know as soon as possible if you are running late. I understand life can happen, so just communicate! I have a 10-minute grace period. Arriving 30 minutes late may result in a shortened appointment or cancellation, depending on the schedule. If you are more than 30 minutes late with no communication, the deposit is lost, and another one is required to rebook.
Bringing a Guest:
Feel free to bring a plus one for moral support or just for fun! My studio is pretty cozy, so if you’re planning on bringing more than one guest, please reach out in advance so I can prep my space accordingly.
Kids aren’t allowed in the suite. This isn’t my rule, but one from Suites on Alder (where I rent), due to the use of sharp objects and the need to manage noise. Other businesses in the building, like estheticians, need a quiet atmosphere for their services, so we just want to be respectful of that.
Design Changes:
Because each tattoo is custom-designed, I want to make sure we have a clear understanding of your vision before your appointment. You will receive a version of the design the day or the night before your appointment. Minor adjustments to your design are welcome, and I’m happy to work with you to make sure the final design feels right.
Please communicate any major changes or concerns before your appointment whenever possible. Major changes to the concept, size, placement, or overall design may require additional design time or may need to be rescheduled.
Touch-Ups
I offer free touch-ups up to 6 months from the date of the tattoo. It is completely normal to need a touch-up on fine line tattoos. Thin lines don’t have as much wiggle room during healing (especially in spots with thinner skin or more friction). It’s just part of the process, so give it 4-6 weeks to fully heal before deciding if you need one. Hand and finger tattoos almost always require a touch-up. This is due to the dermis layer being thinner, so the ink doesn’t hold as well as in other parts of the body. Constant use, washing and friction also contribute to needing a touch-up.
