Frequently Asked Questions
In Washington State, the legal age to get a tattoo is 18 years old. I do not tattoo minors even with parental consent. Adults of any age must present a government-issued ID (driver’s license, state ID, military ID, or passport) in order to be tattooed.
No. Google and Yelp seem to group the two industries together, but trust me, I do not know how to do piercings.
I do not take walk-ins. I am an appointment-only studio. Due to the demand, I typically book one to two months out. If you would like to get in sooner, just mention it during the booking process and either me or my assistant will put you on the waitlist!
Asking “how much does a tattoo cost?” is similar to asking “how much does a bag of groceries cost?” It varies based on what is in it, how big the bag is, and where you’re buying it. Many factors go into the price of a tattoo, including design, placement, and size. My assistant or I will give you a price estimate after going over design specifications on Venue Ink. My minimum is $100, and hourly is $150.
I accept electronic payments made through my booking platform (Venue Ink) which include credit/debt cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, Afterpay, and Affirm. A 9.6% sales tax is applied to all electronic payments. Cash is preferred. AÂ $50Â non-refundable deposit secures your spot and counts toward your final total.
Due to the demand and limited time as a full-time student, clients will receive their design the day or the night before their appointment. This allows me adequate time to work on the piece while balancing schoolwork. After the design is sent, you are able to request design alterations. More on Policies here.
